Live on Zoom – Info Session (June 5th)

Language Enrichment for Ages 2–5
This fun, evidence-based program helps kids improve social communication through role-play, peer modeling, and comic strip conversations. We focus on building confidence and real-world connection in a supportive group setting.

  1. Arrival & Transition Time – Children settle into the room at their own pace.
  2. Music Time – Songs and movement centered around the weekly theme (e.g., ocean, camping).
  3. Themed Craft Activity – Children follow directions, share materials, and build vocabulary.
  4. Snack-Making Activity – Hands-on language practice during a simple food prep task.
  5. Circle Time – Group engagement and structured discussion to reinforce the day’s theme.
  6. Flexible Breaks – Offered as needed to support regulation and participation.
  7. Wrap-Up – A quick review or closing activity before saying goodbye.

Designed for young children to learn language through structured, play-based learning and peer interaction.

Social Skills for Ages 7–11
Designed for older children ready to take their social skills further, this dynamic program supports real-world communication through collaborative activities, role-play, and social problem-solving. We focus on peer interaction, emotional awareness, and flexible thinking.

  1. Welcome & Seating – Students take their seats and prepare for the session.
  2. Video Modeling – Watch engaging animations and peer interactions.
  3. Group Discussion – Answer questions and reflect on the video content.
  4. Skill Practice – Role-playing, games, and structured turn-taking activities.
  5. Social Break – Mid-session break to socialize and recharge.
  6. Reinforcement – Students earn “power charges” for participation and skills use.
  7. Homework Assignment – New activity sent home to reinforce weekly goals.

Encourages attention, teamwork, and practical social skill-building with positive reinforcement.

  • Building Social Connections – Making friends, joining play, and navigating group settings
  • Conversation Skills – Starting, maintaining, and ending conversations
